Counselling Style

I practice from a client centered, strengths based, solution focused,anti-oppressive framework with a focus on CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy) approaches. I am also trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).
So what does that all mean? It means while I know a number of modalities and 'best practice' approaches, I'm not the expert on you. You are. Together we will put together a recovery program that works for you based on your own unique needs and life experience. Also, all of these approaches mean little without an emphasis on the therapeutic relationship. So my first goal is always to earn your trust. 
Fees for counselling start at $150 per 50 minute session and are covered by most insurance/ benefits plans.Counselling may be covered by NIHB if you are Indigenous
